Peace Kids Annual Art Show

The Peace Kids to the Rescue Art Show is an annual event where children aged 3-18 create art that is sold through a silent auction to raise money for charitable causes. The event has raised funds for organizations like Church World Services, the Arch Street Center, and the Lancaster County Homeless Coalition.

    West Art Benefit Concert

    Thursday, February 19, 2026: 7:00 PM

    On February 19, join West Art in welcoming four remarkable local musicians (Sopa Sol, Mark & Jordan Rast, Leo DiSanto, and Liz Fulmer) as they come together to benefit Church World Services, Arch Street Center, and Peace Kids to the Rescue! The evening, to be held in City Hall, will lift your spirits, warm your heart, and keep your feet tapping!

Peace Kids Makes Headlines

Peace Kids to the Rescue was recently featured in a LancasterOnline article highlighting its art show and silent auction, which includes more than 60 donated artworks by youth (ages 3–18) and supports local nonprofits like Church World Services and the Arch Street Center.

Meanwhile, ABC27 ran a video spotlight on the program, interviewing the organizers and showcasing how the artists and their community partners are using creativity to drive positive change.

Bold Journey Features Peace Kids

On the “Meet Sophia and Lucas Kreider” feature with ‎Bold Journey, Sophia shares her 25-year background in bereavement counseling, psychotherapy and research, while Lucas discusses his own journey of growth and resilience. Together they open up about how mindfulness, purpose and self-discovery have shaped their lives and work, offering insight into how they combine inner healing with outward impact.
